PSC bags US travel magazine award

MUSCAT Port Services Corporation (PSC) was honored with the Most Improved Destination for 2010 award by the Dream Cruise World Destinations magazine in the recently held ‘Cruise Shipping Conference and Exhibition’ in Miami (USA) in March.

The Most Improved Destination award is given for tourism product and infrastructure such as city/town centre landscaping; traffic flow; provision of transport; access to tourism information; new attractions/experiences.

“We would like to thank the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Tourism, Royal Oman Police – Customs, Passport and Residence, Coast Guard, Health Quarantine and other security authorities, shipping agents, tour operators and all other connected agencies for their support and cooperation which enabled Port Services Corporation to get this award for the third consecutive year,” PSC said in a statement.
